The story centers on two powerful rival families in the military community of Tampa, FL — the Buckleys and the Rodriguezes — who make decisions at the highest levels in the interest of national security.
Cuban-American actor Bauer, plays the patriarch of the Rodriguez clan, Gen. Rodriguez, the four‐star general in charge of the entire Middle East Central Command – and the consummate soldier‐statesman. Greenwood plays his rival, four-star Gen. Buckley, with Ashley Zukerman cast as Buckley’s son Danny. Matt Rodriguez, played by Wilmer Valderrama is surprised when Ali Buckley played by Bojana Novakovic, a sharp‐witted, Pulitzer Prize-nominated investigative journalist and the daughter of four‐star special ops legend General Buckley played by Steven Bauer, comes to Baghdad. Ali is an investigating reporter, that travels to Iraq, where her brother Danny is working as a military contractor, protecting an Iraqi Rare Earth Metal Refiner . General Matt and Ali are later kidnapped by al qaeda terrorist who attack the refinery.
